Home Secretary unleashes Marxist New Labour's version of the STASI to invade privacy of every British citizen
The enemy: Home Secretary Jacqui Smith and her STASI puppets
Home Secretary Jacqui Smith, who has yet failed to make a statement on the release of the Hunt Report, has unveiled sweeping new powers to invade the privacy of every British citizen. Local government 'security' guards and town hall workers are being armed with sweeping police-style powers to stop and question anyone going about their private business in Police State UK.
For just a few hundred pounds, state and private sector employees can receive Home Office 'accreditation' to become a New Labour political police thug with the 'power' to stop, question and detain anyone they please and then bring in the 'real' politicised police to arrest them.
To many people, those who do not walk around repeating the New Labour propaganda mantra, "Nothing to hide, nothing to fear", these latest Police State powers will be reminiscent of the old Soviet Union. But to the sleepwalkers who refuse to accept the reality of what is happening in this country, this is actually Soviet Britain not the Soviet Union.
The new draconian powers allow the New Labour political police to hand out fines for a raft of 'offences', from dropping litter to riding a bike on the pavement and just about anything else they can think of and shows that Britain is no longer policed by responsible, professional, impartial police officers but rather a growing army of politicised New Labour Marxists.
The new political police can also stop cars to check tax discs, seize alcohol from underage drinkers and demand people's names and addresses without the normal rules of police investigation being applied. Under the terms of PACE, real police officers have to suspect that a crime has been committed or is about to be committed before they can arrest and question a suspect. But this sensible legislation will not apply to New Labour's STASI who can simple act as they see fit....
It is beyond doubt that these political police misfits will create a great deal of tension and conflict as people object to being stopped, questioned and searched by plastic plods. Eventually, this will create more criminal offences as there is bound to be a violent backlash at some time from ordinary people who will object to having their privacy invaded.
But New Labour is not a political animal of the real world and the whole regime lives under a cloud of paranoia, fear and fantasy so typical of the satellite states of the former Soviet Union and now British society is succumbing to the same tyranny.
New Labour fantasists 'hope' the new political police will free up real police officers from having to perform 'unpopular tasks'. The uniformed but badged army of secret police snoopers will become a vital part of the 'extended police family', ministers say. And it has to remarked on how many other powers they will be given. Will they eventually be posted outside polling stations to demand to know how we have voted or stop us in the street to demand we vote?
It should be remembered that millions of Britons do not bother to vote anymore because they are sickened by decades of broken promises, lies and institutionalised corruption in the three-party State and MPs want 'legislation' to be introduced to compel everyone to vote or face being fined... by New Labour's STASI? The potential for significant socio-political backlash should not be underestimated!
So-called privacy campaigners have dubbed the Home Secretary's plastic plods as the 'new STASI' after the East German secret police. Phil Booth of NO2ID said: 'This is a sinister move towards a Stasi snooper state in which jobsworths are devolved the powers of the police - including the right to demand you identify yourself.'
Details of the new army of politicised plastic plods emerged in Home Office papers but the "unfit for purpose" Home Office has demonstrated time and again with multiple losses of secret data, some of it classified, that New Labour is not fit to hold office and must be thrown out at the earliest opportunity.
There are already 1,400 'accredited' town hall and private sector 'staff' but Marxist Ministers want a dramatic expansion of the scheme called the Community 'Safety' Accreditation Scheme. The potty scheme will allow the likes of security guards, park wardens, car park attendants and store detectives to boost their roles and their ego if they undergo training and pay a small fee to their local police force. This will come as a 'welcome' boost to the police who for years have swollen their coffers by harassing motorists instead of catching real crooks.
The only significant difference between the 'accredited' workers and CSOs is that they do not have the power to detain a 'suspect' which will likely be anyone who refuses to answer their questions. Instead, the plastic plods would have to summon real police to help if a situation turned ugly and it is inevitable that these new Police State powers are going to create a great many 'ugly' situations.
At News Alliance we advise British citizens and foreign tourists to ignore and refuse to answer any questions levelled at them by New Labours' STASI on the gounds of invasion of privacy. People should only answer when questioned under real legislation, questions put to them by real police officers and then only after taking legal advice.
