Council snoopers to get new 'powers' to seize our telephone and email records in Police State UK!
Council spies are to be given even 'greater powers' to intercept and seize our phone, email and internet records - landing the long-suffering British taxpayer with a bill of almost £50million as the Police State expands its death of privacy programme.
Town halls, along with the politicised police, incompetent security services, poorly performing 'health' authorities and other public bodies, will have access to 'communication' records of anyone suspected of involvement in even the most minor crime. But the corrupt New Labour regime has not explained what action constitutes the most minor crime? Thought crime perhaps or simply anyone who hates New Labour and its vicious Marxist regime which means most of the British population.
The new Orwellian powers, which stem from an Soviet European Union directive supposedly designed to catch terrorists, will even allow police to track down those who have told friends they are planning to harm themselves. It is not thought this includes the dozens of British farmers who have committed suicide after being bankrupted by the New Labour regime and its friends behind Global Capitalism.
But the latest invasion of privacy scandal will cost the taxpayer £46.58 million over eight years to compensate mobile phone companies and internet firms for storing and providing our private data. But many people do not know that there are ways to hide internet browsing activity from the internet provider by installing a cloak or IP address changer.
The controversy centres on a EU directive passed in the aftermath of the July 7 terror attacks, which has provided the perfect smokescreen for the Soviet EU to order a mass invasion of privacy so typical of Communist regimes. And terrorism is just a smokescreen because these laws would have been passed anyway but terrorist attacks simply accelerate the process of privacy invasion.
The New Labour Red Brigade said it was crucial for terrorism investigations that its politicised police and incompetent security services could access times, dates and recipients of a suspect's landline, mobile phone, email and internet communications. A deadline was set for implementing the powers by March 2009.
And the "unfit for purpose" Home Office has published proposals for how this new privacy invasion will be done. It is intending to give public bodies covered by the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 - including local loony-left councils - the power to access communications data. The rules will not be limited to detecting terrorism and serious crime - they will be applied to any offence which makes a mockery of the regime's claim that the measures are designed to combat terrorists.
Councils can already request some of the data, and have used it to try to trace minor offenders such as dog walkers who allow their pets to defecate in public. These rules will make it compulsory for telephone and internet companies to hand over personal information from the previous 12 months. At the moment, arrangements are largely voluntary. Public bodies will not be able to read emails nor listen to phone calls.
Examples given by the Government include someone who tells a friend by email, or via the internet, they are intending to harm themselves. If contacted by the friend, the police would use their powers to locate a home address and visit the property. But this 'explanation' is about as credible as Tony Blair's claim that the Iraq war 'legal'....
And not content with the new powers to destroy the private life in Britain, Council spies are demanding access to resident's bedrooms. Officials say they need to enter and inspect properties where a council tax discount is claimed. Seven and a half million people - most of them pensioners - are entitled to 25 per cent off their annual bill because they live on their own.
Householders are being pressured into signing a declaration agreeing to an internal inspection of their homes in order to prove they really are single. One 'document', produced by Thurrock Council in Essex, reads: 'To be completed and returned immediately if you wish to continue to claim single person discount. I authorise the Council or its agents to make enquiries to corroborate this claim. I will permit the Council or its agents to inspect the property on request. If you do not do so, we will have to cancel your discount and send you a revised bill for the increased amount.'
This latest move explodes the myth that the New Labour regime is the 'friend' of pensioners on whose support it has relied to stay in office against the will of the majority!
The Home Office has recently admitted that there are now 1,043 state powers of entry, 430 created by a New Labour regime obsessed with passing 'legislation' designed to turn Britain into a vast prison ruled by fear of the State but in which crime runs rampant. And New Labour fantasists (spin-doctors) refuse to accept the widespread extent of the backlash heading their way....

The Red Regime's council tax inspectors, the Valuation Office Agency, have built up detailed records of the number of bedrooms in every property in preparation for a future council tax revaluation. Have they learned nothing from the Thatcher years and the massive Poll Tax riots which ripped through Britain and destroyed the Iron Lady's powerbase?
But one thing is clear and the New Labour regime refuses to accept it: The British people have had enough of being told what to do and are close to breaking point and when the storm finally breaks and it will; the New Labour Red Regime will be thrown back into the dustbin of history from whence it came and then Britain will again become a democracy.
